The Health Protocol began with a question modern medicine could not answer. In his early thirties SAVI was told he was overweight and would need prescription medication for the rest of his life. When he asked why his body was struggling while others stayed thin, no answer came. That silence sparked a two-decade quest through the research on metabolism, nutrition, longevity, and the biology of how the body is built to function. The Protocol is what that quest produced.

The Health Protocol is his framework for restoring energy, regulating metabolism, and living longer in alignment with how the body is built to function. Joined by its Spanish edition El Protocolo De Salud and companion workbooks in both languages, the work draws on the patterns observed in long-lived populations (often called Blue Zones), the research on metabolic health and inflammation, the biology of circadian timing, and the contemplative tradition’s recognition that the body is not separate from the work. The Protocol is plant-predominant, time-aware, and pattern-based rather than perfectionist, designed to support readers across decades.
